E-Waste Recycle Information

The crossed-out wheelie bin symbol on the appliance or its packaging indicates that the product at the end of its useful life must be gathered separately from other waste to allow proper treatment and recycling.

It is forbidden to dispose of waste electrical and electronic equipment as municipal waste, this is also highlighted by the symbol shown on the product and/or packaging.

These waste products are subject to separate collection arranged by municipalities or can be returned to the retailer when purchasing a new appliance of the same type.

Improper disposal or misuse of the equipment or parts thereof may be harmful to the environment and to health due to the presence of hazardous substances. The illegal disposal of said waste is penalised in accordance with the current legislation.
